PocketPro - Full Swing Analysis in Your Pocket

Yes, it's almost here.  To say that we get a few daily questions on the status of PocketPro would be quite the understatement. While often too busy to respond, I wanted to take a few minutes to answer some questions you may have, and perhaps a few others.

PocketPro began roughly two and a half years ago by a small group of engineers with a passion for golf and bettering the game. Since then the product has transformed into something much more extensive. Allow me to speak on that a bit; it's important to understand where the value in our technology lies. It's important for evaluating competitors and marketing. Putting sensors on a golf club is easy, obvious, and almost useless. Every single number that the sensors tell us is wrong. I would first like to express an immense amount of gratitude towards our followers for their continued support on the progress, testing and feedback of the PocketPro product. Development has been in overdrive over the past few months, and I wanted to assure you we are still moving forward quicker than ever.

Your emails, phone calls, and conversations are invaluable to the commercialization of PocketPro and we look forward to hearing from you in regards to our upcoming feature releases. I think you will be very happy, and as excited as we are with what's to come.

PocketPro has become so much more than what it started as. With all of our support and resources we strongly believe PocketPro will become the acme of golf swing analysis and change the way you play.

We have had a substantial amount of feedback regarding the accuracy of the PocketPro sensors and resulting data. Up until this point we had only been able to compare our sensor output with a limited set of swing analysis tools. Two weeks ago we were given full access to one of the most advanced golf video analysis systems in North America. After a week of trials we arrived at the most exciting results we could imagine. This is the first time we have published our findings and have attached a small selection of our results in the graphs below:

From Wednesday, January 26th to Saturday, January 29th the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida will be hosting the 2011 PGA Tour Merchandise Show and PocketPro will be there!

Please note that since this video has been released our PocketPro hardware now automatically detects a swing, and saves it to the onboard flash memory. This allows swings to be transferred in full at a later time. Moreover, you don't need to run to the iPhone to transfer directly after a swing.
